Why do most home based businesses fail before they have even
begun? This is a really important question for anybody who is
intending to start a home business or join a home business
opportunity, to answer before they plunge in.

Failing to find an answer to this rather important question will
only dramatically increase the chances of failure.

Here is the answer. The reason why most people fail is because
they cannot sell. Not only that, they hate the mere though of
selling. Don?t you?

And yet no business can succeed without sales.

Let us take a brief look at the typical situation a new home
based business owner find themselves in shortly after starting
their business.

The sad thing to note is that in most cases, when the small
business entrepreneur actually embarks on their business, they
are usually full of enthusiasm and energy. They start off by
trying to sell their product or service to one or two people.
They quickly face the reality of rejection and the pain that
goes with it. Most of them need face this rejection just a few
times and their brief selling career and probably the life of
their home business is over for good.

It happens all the time and it has probably happened in the few
minutes that you have been reading this article to scores of
people.

So how does one avoid this inevitable path to failure?

It is important to start off by joining an already successful
home business and taking up the business opportunity offered.
The advantage here is that you immediately address one of the
biggest problems people have when buying from anyone. And that
is familiarity. We all are usually very hesitant to buy from
people we do not know or have never heard of before. So if you
join an already successful and well known name, you dramatically
reduce the chances of rejection, especially that rude rejection
from irritated prospects.

Then there are some of these business opportunities where there
is virtually no selling involved. A turnkey solution which has
already served the company and many of the associates who have
joined them, very well, is usually available. In fact so
detailed are some of these turnkey solutions to selling, that no
actual selling is required. You simply follow a series of steps
that generates leads and then you follow more steps and some of
these leads turn into actual sales. Easy, and it works.
